About the Event

Following the Presentation, Facilitators (from Design Collective potentially supplemented by others) will guide Small Group (6-12 people) Roundtable Discussions, with questions; these Roundtable Discussions will take place in 2 rounds at each table, for 1 hour each (to accommodate a large stakeholder group). While half of the stakeholders are at the Roundtables, the other half will circulate to several topic-based Stations (groups of boards and table, with sticky notes, pens, etc. for comments). There will be a facilitator/notetaker (from Pleasants Development) at each Station. After an hour, stakeholders will rotate. Potential Stations may include:

Station 1 - Beck East Plan – layout of streets, blocks & open spaces

Station 2 - Beck West Plan – layout of streets, blocks & open spaces

Station 3 - APFO (Water, Sewer, Schools, Roads, Police, Fire, Parks/Open Space)

Station 4 - Residential Types, Commercial Area, Open Spaces, and Amenities

May 23

Day 2 - Development Team Revisions, Pin-up, and Presentation/Open House

Feedback Loop 2:  Afternoon Pin Up – for public viewing and input           2:00 - 6:00 PM

Feedback Loop 3:  Evening Final Presentation and Open House                  7:00 – 9:00 PM

Development Team will work on revisions based on input received on Day 1; meet with the Town during the day as needed; conduct an Afternoon Pin-up, open to the public, to present and solicit feedback on plan revisions; and conduct a final Presentation and Open House to conclude the Charrette.   Following the presentation, the public will be invited to multiple boards stations for comments/questions.
